Thank you for your interest in Richmond County Day Camp, Staten Island’s # 1 private summer day camp. Since 1995, we’ve provided safe, memorable summers to 1000’s of Staten Island children as well as peace of mind for their parents. Our safety, program, affordability and flexibility remain unsurpassed in the industry.

Facility-
Our facility is located at 1075 Woodrow Rd. in Huguenot. Unlike most camps, it is 100 % PRIVATE and includes a large sport’s field and an air-conditioned building with classrooms for karate, gymnastics, music and arts n crafts. Our private outdoor swimming pool, located minutes away has separate areas for advanced and beginning swimmers.
 
Safety and Supervision-
Safety is our top priority. Owned & directed by licensed teachers with decades of camp experience, our adult staff is screened, background checked and trained. We maintain a camper to staff ratio of 8:1 or lower. All buses are equipped with seat belts and 2 way radios, and are operated by state licensed bus drivers. Our camp medical director is a licensed nurse or EMT and our counselors are certified in CPR.
 
Activities-
Our unique and exciting program combines traditional camp activities like swimming, sports, arts n crafts, fencing & karate with daily trips, shows and special events. Trips include Staten Island & NY Yankee baseball games, movies & bowling, Medieval Times, the Statue of Liberty, indoor & outdoor amusement parks, roller skating and many others. Special events include talent shows, Water Day, rock wall, dance parties and more, (Please check our schedule for a complete list of trips and events).

Value and convenience-
No camp exceeds the affordability & flexibility of RCDC. Tuition always includes door-door transportation, extended hours, activities & trips, insurance & a camp shirt and bag. Campers may attend any amount of weeks, in any order. Flexible payment plans are free and there are numerous available discounts available.
