Welcome-
Thank you for your interest in Richmond County Day Camp. In 2004, after decades
of directing camps, we created the greatest day camp, ever. Four years later,
Richmond County Day Camp has become the # 1 day camp on Staten Island, Last
summer alone, more than 300 children attended. Their 600 parents enjoyed peace
of mind, knowing their kids were happy and safe. Choosing a summer day camp
can be a difficult task, but it shouldn’t be. We are confident that after
you learn about our camp, talk to other parents who know us, and meet or directors
and staff, your choice will be obvious.
Facility-
RCDC is located in Fun Station USA, an AIR-CONDITIONED, 40,000 Sq. Ft. facility,
used exclusively by our camp. Fun Station consists of a full size basketball
court, batting cages, a huge play maze, rides, laser tag, snack bar, rooms for
art, karate and dance, and dozens of exciting arcade games. Our beautiful, private
Olympic size outdoor swimming pool is located just minutes away. We also utilize
The Victory Sports Arena for field sports such as softball, football and soccer.
Safety and Supervision-
Safety is our top priority. RCDC is owned and operated by licensed teachers,
with decades of camp experience. As an accredited camp of the American Camping
Association, all counselors must be college age or adults. A background check
is performed on every staff member. A camper to staff ratio of 8:1 is always
maintained and the camp is monitored by closed circuit T.V. All camp buses,
owned by local, Bd. Of Ed Yellow bus companies, equipped with seat belts &
2-way radios. Their drivers are licensed by the state and camp counselors always
ride with our campers. Our camp medical director is a licensed Registered Nurse
and is assisted by an EMT. Most of counselors are certified in Red Cross CPR.
Activities-
RCDC features a unique & exciting program. We combine traditional camp activities
like swimming, sports, arts n crafts & music, with exciting trips and special
events. Our campers are never bored. They attend SI & NY Yankee games, movies,
skating, bowling, Medieval Times, Statue of Liberty, Bow-Craft Amusement Park,
Mini-golf, SI Zoo, Liberty Science Center & many more. Special events include
a Wrestling Show, Carnival, talent show, Olympics, Double Dare, DJ parties and
much more. Of course, our campers also enjoy exclusive access to Fun Station’s
rides, laser tag and maze.
Value and convenience-
No camp can beat the value, affordability and convenience of RCDC. Tuition includes
door-door transportation, extended hours (6AM- 6PM), most trips, activities,
insurance, taxes, shirt, bag and water bottle. Our rates are as low as $50 per
day for 8 weeks of camp. Parents may also enroll for 2- 7 weeks, in any order.
An inexpensive lunch program is available by the month, week or day. A flexible
payment plan is free and a 100% refund is guaranteed in case your plans change.

information. A small deposit is all that’s required; your choice of weeks
